Helen Scott Smith Parrish, 85, of Louisa, passed away November 11, 2009. She was born December 5, 1923 in Louisa to Everette B. Smith and Gertrude Badgett Smith.
Helen was a member of South Anna Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge of Louisa.
She is survived by her daughter Sue Parrish Bateman, her brothers, Kenneth Smith and Nelson Smith, and her sister, Dorothy Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifton Parrish and 7 siblings.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Steve McClary will be officiating. Burial will be private.
