Adam Leigh Boardway, 28, of Mineral, VA, an Angel among us, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Adam was a graduate of Midlothian H.S. (1999) and Virginia Tech (2003). He loved his family, friends, sports, and his job as a civil engineer at American Infrastructure in Montgomeryville, PA.
Adam is survived by his parents, R. David and Sandra Z. Boardway; his sister, Megan L. Boardway; grandparents, Richard J. and Viola I. Boardway; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard P. and Bernice A. Zaremba, Uncle Frederick J. Boardway, and cousin Shane R. Zaremba.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1937 Davis Hwy., Mineral, VA 23117, with Father Michael Duffy officiating. A gathering will follow the service at Lake Anna Winery, 5621 Courthouse Rd., Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
