Phyllis Trice Bowen, 69, of Richmond, formerly of Louisa, passed away November 24, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a member of Louisa Christian Church.
She is survived by her son Dwayne Taylor and his fiancé Martha Jones of Richmond, her daughter, Mitzi Hagan and her husband Bill of Mesa, AZ, her granddaughter, Nicole Mincoff of Cheyenne, WY, her sister, Virginia Brown of Mineral, two nieces Pam Hart and Donna Vayo, a number of great nieces and nephews, and a dear and faithful friend.
The family will receive friends from 2- 4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
