Grace Mae Johnson Corker
Mae J. Corker, 81, of Louisa, VA passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her home.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Gladys K. Johnson, her husband, Carroll Corker, her infant daughter, Linda Corker, her brother, W.T. "Bill" Johnson, Jr., and her sister, Vivian Vawter.
Mae is survived by two daughters; Ann C. Olsen "Brenda" of North Carolina, and Carolyn Lewis and her husband Rick of Richmond, VA, five grandchildren; William E. Sullivan, IV, Melissa Sher and her husband John, Heather Edwards and her husband Pete, 1st Lt. Richard G. Lewis, II, Sarah Lewis, four great-grandchildren; Hannah and Ryan Sher, Joshua and Lucas Edwards, three brothers; Ralph Johnson, Wade Johnson and his wife Mary Margaret, and Donald "Don" Johnson, two sisters: Emily Leake and Martha Anne Bourne and her husband Stanley, a sister-in-law; Marion Johnson and a brother-in-law; Clifton Vawter.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa with Rev. Murphy Terry officiating.
