Harold Edward Stanley, 64, of Spotsylvania passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge. He was born December 1, 1945.
He is survived by his mother; Louise Hairfield of Spotsylvania, his former wife; Fuschia Stanley, his sons; Harold E. Stanley, Jr. and wife Lorie of Louisa and Nathaniel Stanley and wife Theresa of Louisa, his daughters; Bonnie L. Franck of Louisa and Melissa Shifflett and husband Nelson of Whitehall, his sister; Rita Durney and husband Mike of Spotsylvania, his grandchildren; Allen Stanley, Jessica Stanley, Elijah Stanley, Joshua Stanley, Joseph Franck, Billy Franck, Mark Franck, Jacob Franck, Hiawatha Cowgill, Jr. and Courtney Smith, his great-grandchildren; Kaley Franck and Madison Franck.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Hairfield Family Cemetery, 4964 Ridge Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
