Richard "Ricky" Glass, Jr., 22, of Mineral was called home by the Lord on Sunday, March 7, 2010. He was born April 1, 1987 in Charlottesville.
He is survived by his father; Richard "Ricky" Glass and his companion Kathy Brooks of Mineral, his mother; Susan Badgett Glass of Mineral, his paternal great grandmother; Pearl Glass of Mineral, his maternal grandmother; Shirley Badgett, his paternal grandparents; Betty and James Glass, Sr. his daughter; Lilly Glass, his sisters; Tabitha Harris, her husband David and their children Madalyn and Avary of Beaverdam, Chasity Badgett of Mineral, and Nicole Glass and her children, Devin Corbi and Da'Shaun Johnson of Mineral. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather "Jr." Badgett. Ricky leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 at Woodward Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Burnette and Rev. Warren Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Memorial Park Cemetery in Mineral.
