Ronald Preston Sheffer, age 49, of Bumpass, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.
He is preceded in death by his father: Marvine Sheffer
Survivors include his mother: Ruth Hyatt and husband Frank; his wife: Deborah Sheffer; one son: Dustin Sheffer; his daughter: Amanda Carroll and husband Jeff; his brothers: David Sheffer, Mike Sheffer, Scott Sheffer, Frank Hyatt, Jr.; his sisters: Debbie Dolin, Terry Sheffer, Sandy Tate, and Kim Riggleman; his grandchildren: Vincent Carroll, and Jenna Sheffer.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, May 24, 2010, at 10:30 A.M., in the Woodward Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Chrisman officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Parnassus United Methodist Church Cemetery, Parnassus, VA.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
