Robert �Bob� Cartwright, 82, of Louisa, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at his residence. Bob was born March 27, 1929 in Englewood, N.J. to the late Alexander Holsebosch and Josephine Bladwin Holsebosch. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He earned an engineering degree after his service in the U.S. Army and then moved from New Jersey to be the general manager at the silk mill textile factory in Gordonsville. Bob was a long time member of St. James Episcopal Church in Louisa. He had a great love for animals and wildlife. He is survived by his aunt, Catherine Baldwin of Brick, N.J. and cousin Karen Bercaw her companion, Bradley Barker and her son, John P. Hill all of Palmyra, V.A. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa. The Rev. Ann B. Davis will be conducting the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1216, Louisa, VA 23093.
