Lynda Lee Ferrell Harlow, 67, beloved mother, grandmother and friend died Monday, March 19, 2012 at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia. She was suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
Mrs. Harlow, a lifetime resident of Louisa County, was born in 1944 to Paul E. Ferrell and Faye Helvin Ferrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Carroll Harlow, her sister, Marylou Ferrell Woodson, her brother, David Ferrell and her parents. Mrs. Harlow was a loving homemaker that cared for her family throughout her life.
Mrs. Harlow was a member of the Louisa United Methodist Church and also attended Waldrop's Baptist Church in Louisa, VIrginia.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Harlow Mitchell; son-in-law, Mark Christopher Mitchell and two grandchildren, Emily Christine Mitchell and Christopher Harlow Mitchell.
Visitation will be at Woodward Funeral Home on Friday, March 23 from 6 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Waldrop Baptist Church on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. With Rev. Hubert Hart officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest cemetery in Louisa, Virginia.
