Guestbook for Ret. Navy Capt. Guy Edward Myslivy Showing 1 - 10 of 47 entries.

Dear Mary,
It was with great sadness and shock that I recently learned of Guy's passing. Guy was my first cousin. Phyllis Mysliwy Brickler was my mother. The last time I saw Guy was at my Mother's and Ralph Mysliwy's funerals in July of 2003. We all reconnected with Guy. It was a bright note at an incredibly sad time. He was a truly special person.
I have contacted family members here in Wisconsin. Aunty Esther, Teds widow, was especially sad. Pat Muth, Anna's daughter was stunned and saddened. That about sums it up for all of us who knew and loved Guy. Although Ed, Jean, and family always lived far from Wisconsin, they were special to us. Guy kept in touch with my Mom until her passing in 2003. It meant the world to her to hear from him. I will never forget his kindness. I can say with confidence that the entire Wisconsin branch of the Mysliwy family sends their deepest sympathy and love. God Bless you and your family.

I flew with Capt Myslivy in VS-28 '81-83' when he was the XO & CO. There was not a finer gentleman or a more experienced Viking pilot in our Navy! My condolences go out to his family, God Bless you all...

Through a fellow squadron member, I just learned of Capt Myslivy's "retirement." I will always remember him for his quiet demeanor and quick wit. I flew many missions with him as a Sensor Operator and value the time I spent as a member of his aircrew. Rest in Peace, Capt Myslivy. You are remembered.

Dear Mary and family, Rocco and I were shocked and so saddened to just hear, the day before the funeral,of Guy's passing. There is now an enormous gap in our circle of Navy friends. Guy was always there - for changes of command, Viking round-ups,new plane introduction, squadron and plane de-comissionings, and an honored part of Rocco's retirement ceremony. I am sorry that I missed the service at Arlington, Rocco said it was impressive and truly fitting. Certainly, there are no words that will help at this devastating time, but please know that our thoughts are with you. fondly, Beth (and Rocco) Tomanelli

To Mary and Family:
I am very fortunate that I have worked for Guy Myslivy. Guy was a very special person, and he expressed much understanding and support to me when I worked for him. I will always miss him very much in heart and spirit. I always felt like I knew him as a friend too. Many Blessings go out to you and your family.

To Mary and Family,
I first met Guy when we worked together in the Pentagon. My first impression was a lasting one of a true humanitarian. Besides being such a great person to work with, Guy let everyone know how much he loved his family. Thank you Mary for sharing Guy with all who knew him and may God bless him for all he gave and you for your sacrifice.

Flew and worked with Guy during my first tour as a JO in VS-31. Could not have had a better mentor!
